The spiral is an ancient symbol that represents the winding journey inward that we must take if we are to truly know and love ourselves.
Sometimes we get stuck. The answers we look for are not in our head despite all of the energy we spend thinking. By engaging in the rhythmic movement, pattern, and sensory experience of doodling spirals, you may feel a sense of relaxation and stress relief that grounds your awareness in the present moment. This mindful doodle offers a respite for the thinking mind and reconnects you to your body. The continuous flow of this imagery may inspire you to get moving and to take action. Make a journal entry after your art-making session.
